Week 16 Results

Here are the results from Week 16. If the Vikings beat the Bears this week they are going to the Playoffs, if they don't and the Eagles win then the Eagles go... both are my teams so it's kind of a win-win (but I am pulling for the Vikings).

Zach is back in the lead; several of us still have a chance. This year is shaping up to be a close race down the stretch!

Aaron is now in the lead, thanks to a nice Bills win, Zach's zero point week, the continued dominance of the Saints, and the charging Chargers.

My 5 win week should keep me in the hunt.

Jakki has been doing well lately with the Seahawks, Colts, & Cowboys, but it might be too late.

Week 11 Results

Man, the Bears D is tough. Ouch.

I hear the Rams / Chiefs game was good. Too bad I was in line at the Walgreens pharmacy with dad pretty much the whole game. If any of you are ready for a career change, get into the medicine manufacturing/distributing business while the Baby Boomers are hitting their prime pill time.

I think the Saints are the team to beat right now.

Week 9 recap:

• It was a rough week for Jakki - zero points.
• Brad made up some ground.
• Zach is ff to a great start and looks unbeatable, but will he be like the Falcons against the Patriots in Super Bowl 51?
• Speaking of the Falcons, they are coming into shape quite nicely, but is it too late? Panthers are looking good in that Division but the Saints proved that they are the best team in the NFC South (if not the whole league) by beating the Rams.
• Vikings D is back to it's dominant self. Then again, the Bears D makes them an icy barrier to break through in the frozen North.
• Chiefs look primed for a Super Bowl run... can they get paast the Patriots this year?

Brad's Titans are missing the high-powered offense they had last year.
Rams seem to be the team to beat this year.

On a side note, please being praying for dad's health and mom's memory. Also be praying that we can get them moved out here ASAP, Lord willing.

Here's a quick scoring rules reminder:
Win = 10 points
Shutout = additional 5 points
Score 30+ = additional 3 points*
Score 40+ = additional 4 points*
Score 50+ = additional 5 points*
Score 60+ = additional 6 points*
Wild Card Win = 15 points
Quarter Finals Win = 20 points
Conference Finals Win = 30 points
Super Bowl Win = 40 points

*highest one only, ie. you don't get a combined extra 18 points if you score over 60, you only get the extra 6
Also, if you score a shutout and score in a "more than"category, you DO get to take both categories.
For example, if (AKA when) the Vikings beat the Cowboys 65-0, The Vikings would get:
10 for the win
6 for the over 60
5 for the shutout

Zach ousted Brad when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. As Zach put it:

Zach still has a chance to take over WaxFL bragging rights for a year... but the Eagles will need to play like they played against the Vikings. if they do then the mighty Patriots will fall... finally!

Wild Card Week results

Sorry the Bills didn't win but at least they made the palyoffs this year.
The Vikings / Saints matchup on Sunday should be great. I am pulling for the Titans to upset the Patriots. I think the Steelers will stomp the Jags and the Falcons should be able to take out the Eagles. We'll see. Should be a fun week!

Week 16 & 17 results

Here are the final regular season results. I had a great week 16 thanks to 2 shut-outs. Zach & I have the best chance to catch Brad in the playoffs but Aaron, Jakki, & Matt still have teams in the playoff mix. Sorry Austin, the Raiders/Cowboys/Colts/Dolphins combo was a dud in 2017.
